The default character set that comes with v6.0 is ISO-8859-1. If you've patched your system to v6.0.1 we've changed the admin center header file to use UTF-8 instead. If you're getting unexpected results with the currency symbol using the UTF-8 character set, please download the attached (ISO) header file file below. This file uses ISO-8859-1 as the character set.
When 6.1 is released, it will include functions to change this within the admin center. Until then attached are both versions of the admin center header file, UTF and ISO.
Download the version of the file you need. Once you've done this, go to your admin center Setup & Tools > Site Configuration and change your currency symbol again. You may see boxes or foreign characters as the current setting. This is ok. Just replace whatever is currently set with your real currency symbol.
To adjust the character set in the affiliate control panel, edit the /templates/header.tpl file. In most cases this should probably match what you're using in the admin center.
Note: The attached ZIP files contain the setup.php file which will only work with v6.0.1. If you upload this setup.php files to an earlier version you will break your system.
